Astra Theme
A dedicated page to Astra theme, because I wrote various blog posts about it.
I still need to insert a shortcode below to display the posts related with Astra theme, but your get the idea of the structure now.
Here is the tag corresponding to this page: (-)
Corresponding category archives (-)
Subtopic page:
https://houdyk.com/wordpress/themes/
Topic page:
https://houdyk.com/wordpress/
I still need to think about the permalink structure. Not sure if I want to keep the …/best/… as category base, but it starts to take form how all these pages are related now.
Update 1 november 2026
When I read the above now it becaem very clear that it was a very good move to force myself to write a page about every categroy and tag I add. I reslised I do not want te elaborate on all the different WordPress themes and get topical authority on WordPress themes. Why would I want that? I have no product ans service related to WordPress Themes.
Therefore it makes much more sense to group everything WordPress in one category. This way I can share only the good stuff I like or find worth mentioning, withoug forcing myself to build out a super detailed WordPress glossary.
Got rid of all 125 tags today. I fugured they were doing more harm than good.
As I slowly start toe realise what my should should be about and what not. It becomes clear that Google also had no idea what this site was all about. Too many topics. Each post a new tag.
For now I do leave this deeper level Astra page. But the TAG is gone.
